The essential gear for any trek requires you to be prepared for various weather conditions. While there are ideal times in the year for a trek, the weather in the mountains is unpredictable.

You must carry: Waterproof/Snowproof shows, UV rays protecting sunglasses, Sunscreen, Full-Size raincoat, Thermal, Socks, Cap, Walking Stick, Headtorch, Personal, Physician-approved medication

How to reach
Travel

By Air: Kullu Bhuntar airport. From there, cabs and buses are available till Manali.

By Train: The train starts from Delhi and arrives at Chandigarh. Cabs, local buses, and Volvo buses are available from there to reach Manali. The train arrives in Chandigarh. From there, Volvo bus, HRTC, or Cab services are available to anywhere in Himachal. Train arrives in Haldwani; from there, local buses or cab services are available to anywhere in Uttarakhand.

By Road: Volvo buses and local buses start from Delhi and arrive at Manali. You can book private cabs from Delhi or Chandigarh to Manali.
